The AI agent consumes tokens per action. This article explains how the token system works and how to purchase additional tokens.
What Are AI Tokens?
AI tokens are the credit for the AI agent in the backend. Every time you use the agent — e.g. to create features, generate a price matrix from a CSV or define rules — tokens are consumed.
Viewing Your AI Token Balance
Under Billing → AI Tokens in the Service Portal you see your current balance:
- Monthly quota — tokens included in your plan, renewed monthly, with expiry date
- Topped-up tokens — additionally purchased tokens, do not expire
- Total available — sum of both
- Consumed this period — absolute and as a percentage
Under Recent activity you see a log of all token consumption events with date and amount.
Monthly Quota
Your plan includes a monthly token quota. The quota is automatically renewed each month. Unused monthly tokens expire at the end of the billing period.
Topped-Up Tokens
Additionally purchased tokens do not expire — they remain permanently on your account and are only used once the monthly quota is exhausted.
Purchasing Tokens
Under Billing → AI Tokens → Purchase additional tokens three packages are available:

Enabling/Disabling the AI Assistant
In the V3 backend under Settings → AI you can enable or disable the AI assistant. When disabled, the AI panel is hidden and no data is transmitted to the AI service provider (Anthropic). It can be re-enabled at any time.
There you also see what the AI assistant has remembered about your company — information that flows automatically into every new chat.
How Many Tokens Do I Need?
This depends on how intensively you use the AI agent. The monthly quota is sufficient for typical use cases. You can track your actual consumption under Recent activity.
