As a module for PrestaShop 8.1 / 9, configento.app brings complex products with millions of variants, real-time price calculation and rule-based logic right to your product pages — just as on Magento, Shopware and Shopify.
In PrestaShop you create variants as combinations — every combination is a record of its own. That works well for a t-shirt in colours and sizes, but for made-to-measure products with many characteristics the number of combinations quickly gets out of hand.
configento.app calculates every configuration dynamically in real time — width, height, colour, material, equipment — without creating a record for each combination.
Everything configento.app offers for Magento, Shopware and Shopify — as a native module for PrestaShop.
The configuration fields appear right on the PrestaShop product page — in the look & feel of your theme, without visible third-party branding.
Surcharges per attribute, Excel price matrices or custom formulas — the price updates instantly with every selection, without a page reload.
The finished configuration goes into the PrestaShop cart with all characteristics, surcharges and the final price — customers buy through the checkout they know.
Dependencies between attributes are defined in the rule set. Invalid combinations are hidden automatically — customers can only create configurations that can actually be ordered.
With every selection the configured product is shown visually straight away — using layer technology, without a separate image for each combination.
PrestaShop is at home all over Europe — and so is configento.app. You maintain characteristics, texts and hints in every language of your store.
You build your configurator in configento.app, independent of the shop system. Download the module under Settings → Integrations, install it in the PrestaShop back office and link your products. You can test everything free of charge for 14 days.
