Product management

Components & visual product management

You can use configento.app without any programming knowledge. You manage your components, features and all necessary settings in the visual interface: drag & drop, WYSIWYG editor for your texts, everything very straightforward.

Rules

You can easily add a rule set to every product to map your dependencies. Hide features or values that are not available, make a necessary default selection. You do this easily in the rule editor within the visual management interface.

API

With the configento.app API, data in the product configurator — features, values, prices and rules — can be created and edited. This allows large amounts of data from other systems to serve as a data source.

Many data types

You describe the features of your product using many available data types: a discrete selection as a dropdown or radio buttons, or free input fields.

Feature groups

You group your product features into groups to improve the overview for your users. With groups you can also easily create a wizard that conveniently guides users through the configuration.

Visualization

Real-time images

With the combined product image, your users always have a visual representation of the currently configured product. Our layer technology dynamically generates the image in real time without you having to create all possible combinations yourself. This works for 2D representations as well as our 360° animation.

360° View

Simply upload your product from all viewing angles. As few as 48 images are enough to enable a smooth rotation of the object. With the 360° view you can also use our modern layer technology to map configuration details in separate layers.

3D representation

From an OBJ 3D model we render corresponding views of your product in a raytracing step. This product can then be overlaid with additional dynamic components during the configuration process. This requires some preparatory work, for which one of our configento.app Partner will be happy to help.

Responsive – Mobile ready

configento.app uses modern responsive technology and can therefore be used not only on desktop computers with large displays, but also on notebooks, tablets and smartphones without any issues.

Surcharges for the product features

You can easily assign surcharges to your product features. These can be simple values, but the prices can also be calculated from combinations of other features. This way you can easily map complex pricing structures too.

Flexible Preisberechnung

Excel and CSV price lists

Are the prices for your products determined from price lists — as is common in window manufacturing or sun protection? You can easily import such lists as Excel or CSV files. After entering the necessary data, the prices are read from this list and used for real-time price calculation.

Formulas

With a formula you implement simple and complex calculations, set logics and sequences. Within the formulas, the values and surcharges of the features in the configurator can be accessed.

Ecommerce integration

Seamless integration with Magento and Shopware

We provide you with plugins for Shopware and Magento. These plugins load our cloud software into your web shop for selected configurable products — invisibly for your customers. At the end of the configuration, the finished item is placed into the shopping cart of your web shop as usual and the transaction can be completed.

CMS integration

You can easily integrate configento.app into any conventional CMS system such as WordPress, Typo3, WIX or Jimdo using our HTML5 snippet. Simply copy the snippet from the admin interface and paste it onto one of your web pages.

ERP connection

configento.app does not have its own ERP connection, as transactions are processed via your web shop. However, we store all configurations so that they can be transferred to your ERP system in the usual way. Our shop plugins also support the generation of bills of materials.

White label

configento.app integrates seamlessly into your web shop or website. Your customers do not notice this — there is no branding or reference to configento.app.
