What is the AI Agent in configento.app V3?
The AI agent is integrated directly into the new management interface. You chat with it — in German or English — and it builds your configurator in real time. No separate tools, no prompts in external AI systems, no copy-paste between chat and backend.
The agent has full access to your component: it can create attributes, add selection values, define rules, generate price matrices from CSV data and assign images directly from the chat. Everything happens locally — you only publish when you're satisfied. Always reversible through versioning.
What the AI Agent Can Do
Build & edit configurators via chat
You describe your product in natural language: "I sell roller blinds. Customers can enter width and height in cm, choose from 12 colors and select between chain and motor drive." The agent creates the component with all attributes, data types and selection values — directly, without further clicks.
All attribute types are supported: selection, image lists, checkboxes, text and number fields, date and file upload fields, formula fields, matrix values, combination fields and static HTML blocks.
Pricing logic via chat
Quantity discount tiers, 2D price matrices directly from CSV data (e.g. material × area), formulas with variable syntax like $width * $height * $price_per_sqm — the agent understands pricing logic and implements it directly.
Rules & dependencies
"If drive = Motor, then maximum width is 300cm" — the agent creates the rule. Blacklists, pre-selections, validation errors: all configurable by voice.
Understanding files
Upload a PDF product description or CSV price list — the agent reads it and suggests a suitable configurator structure. Instead of manually entering price matrices, upload the Excel table and the agent takes over.
Memory
The agent learns your terms and conventions. Once you explain "we always call this attribute 'finish', not 'variant'", it remembers and applies it automatically in future sessions.
