One T-shirt in German, English, French and Spanish — one component, four languages, no copies. Whoever opens the page picks a language first and then configures in their own. Prices and rules are still maintained in one place only.
One attribute in the HTML snippet, nothing more. Which languages are offered is read from the component itself, so the list cannot drift away from what has actually been translated.
<div data-configento
data-component-id="10879"
data-configento-language-select></div>
If a shop should only show two of the available languages, name them explicitly: data-configento-languages="de_DE, en_GB". With just one language no picker appears — a click that asks nothing would only be an obstacle.
You maintain translations in a single component — and the configento.app AI agent can set it up multilingual from the start.
